Our family history in this region of the country ages five generations. Our great great Grandfather came and settled in Kurseong long long back. Having settled here, family grew their business from trading to pharmaceuticals to Banking to Tea gardens to Real estate to Rice mills to Oils mills………..it expanded from whole of Darjeeling district to Jalpaiguri district, East Pakistan, Burma and Nepal. We still boast of the oldest building in Siliguri. We have prime properties and real estates in Siliguri. We were the only business house in Darjeeling district to have Private Banking License until Bank nationalization took place in 1956. We were the biggest Landlords in the district until Land ceiling was implemented. We still have an unparalleled and unputdownable family reputation.

Presently ESSENN Group business expands from Trading to Distribution, Manufacturing to Infrastructure, Telecom to FMCG, and Warehousing to Retailing.

We started our operation in January 2005. In February 2005, we got our first orders for Civil & electrical works for 14 sites of Tata Teleservices Ltd. Thereafter there has been no looking behind. We started as only civil & electrical contractors for TTSL then also bagged orders from Ericsson India Ltd for their Project-Dishnet. Followed by orders for Towers from Hutch, Reliance Telecom Ltd, Nokia Siemens, Bharti Airtel, Indus Towers, etc

A company that started only as contractors has today become a TSP (Turnkey Solution Provider) for Telecom Sites, Optical Fiber, and Tower Manufacturer. Today, we take up infra-structure jobs from various telecom companies on turnkey basis. We started with our area of operation as North Bengal only. Today, we have expanded ourselves to entire West Bengal & Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Assam & NE. Soon we are also starting our operations in Orissa, Jharkandh, and Bihar. In future, we would like to place ourselves pan India and also bid for International telecom tenders.
